Good grades are not luck. They are a system.

SchoolStuff works one-on-one with secondary school and university students to fix how they study, plan and sit exams — so the hours they already put in finally show up on the result sheet.

Why students get stuck

Most students don't have a knowledge problem. They have a method problem.

Re-reading notes until midnight feels like work, but it is one of the weakest ways to learn. I've watched hardworking students plateau for years simply because nobody ever taught them how to study — only what to study.

Mentoring at SchoolStuff starts by looking honestly at what you're already doing, then rebuilding it into something that actually holds up under exam pressure.

  • Diagnose before prescribingWe look at your real timetable, past scripts and study habits — not a generic template.
  • Teach methods that are provenActive recall, spaced repetition, past-question drilling and timed practice, adapted to your subjects.
  • Track it week by weekA plan you never follow is worthless. We review what actually happened and adjust.

“I don't hand students a magic formula. I help them build a routine they can keep on a bad week — that's what separates good results from lucky ones.”

In their words

What changes after a few sessions

Students and parents describing what was different afterwards.

“I used to read for six hours and remember nothing. After the audit I read for two and actually recall it. My last two tests were my best ever.”

Musa Danladi

First Year Student

“The exam clinic changed how I approach past questions completely. I stopped panicking about time because I finally had a plan for the paper.”

Joy Oguche

200-level undergraduate

“As a parent I finally understood what to say and what to leave alone. The house is calmer and her grades came up on their own.”

Questions

Before you book

Is this the same as extra lessons or tutoring?

No. A tutor teaches you the subject content. A mentor teaches you how to learn it, plan around it and perform under exam conditions. Many students who already have tutors still plateau — that gap is what SchoolStuff fills.

Are sessions online or in person?

Both. Most students choose a video call, which works well and saves travel time. In-person sessions can be arranged depending on your location — mention it in the booking form and we'll sort it out on the intro call.

My exam is in a few weeks. Is it too late?

Not too late, but the plan changes. With limited time we stop trying to cover everything and focus on high-yield topics, past questions and exam technique. Book the Exam Strategy Clinic and say how many weeks you have.

Do you work with parents directly?

Yes. Parents can book a consultation on their own, and for students under 18 I keep parents informed about the plan. Everything the student shares in session stays confidential unless there's a safety concern.

What does it cost?

A single private session is ₦5,000. The intro call is free and there is no obligation — we confirm everything there before anything is agreed.

How quickly will I see a difference?

Most students feel more in control within the first two weeks because they finally have a clear plan. Grades follow later — usually by the next round of tests, provided the plan is actually followed. I won't promise you a specific score; anyone who does is guessing.
