Over the years, most of the schools of Nursing in Nigeria have now made it compulsory for all aspirants to write JAMB and score a minimum cut-off mark before they can be admitted into the school.
Before now, most of the school of Nursing that offers RN/RM don’t require students to have JAMB results; all that was required was your O-level results and screening exams, that is conducted after which eligible candidates will be offered admission. But now things have changed since the Minister of Education has enforced that all the schools of Nursing must use JAMB as a criterion for their admission.

However, not all the Nursing schools in Nigeria have complied with these policies; some are still accepting students without JAMB. This means that with your O-level results, you can still be offered admission to study in these schools.
If you didn’t write the 2025 JAMB and you are feeling that you have missed out on this year’s Admission, don’t worry, because there are still schools of Nursing that are accepting students despite not having JAMB results. All you need for admission are the basic entry requirements of your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results to be admitted.
