The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is the body generally in charge of admission into all the tertiary institutions in Nigeria.  Every year, the body conducts nationwide exams for all the candidates who registered for the exams in order to assess them before finally admitting them into the tertiary institution.

Before now, most school of Nursing in Nigeria accepts students for admission into their school even without them writing JAMB. But this has changed over the years since the JAMB has fully enforced the policy that all tertiary institution in Nigeria will only admits students who have UTME results.

Also, now that graduates from the school of Nursing are being mobilised for NYSC, this has become compulsory for them to have UTME results.

What is the JAMB Cut-off Mark for these Schools

Each of the school listed above have its specific cut-off mark. Some are higher while some are lower, and this depends on the number of applicants that the school is getting per year.

However, the minimum JAMB cut-off mark for admission into School Nursing is 140. Some schools have cut-off marks as high as 200, and these are mostly the popular schools of Nursing that always have tons of applications every year.

Some school of Nursing still accepts students without JAMB results; however, the ones listed on this blog post no longer accept students with JAMB.
